CHI - Migration FAQ

This article contains answers for the most commonly asked questions about CHI and your new Midphase Account.

Q - How do I log in to my CHI account?

A – You can access your account at To log in to your CHI control panel for the first time click on the “Forgot Password?” link, enter your billing email address in the username field, and click "set password."  The password reset link will then be sent to your email address.


Q - Will migrating my account into CHI affect my web hosting account?

A - No, we will not be making any changes to your web hosting account. Once you have been migrated you will be able access your web hosting account from your new CHI control panel

Q - What type of support does Midphase offer?

A - Midphase provides technical support 24x7x365 and can be reached via phone, live chat, or ticket. You can submit a support ticket at any time by selecting the “support” option on the left-hand side after you login to CHI. To review our contact details, please visit

Q - Will my plan change?

A - Midphase offers a variety of hosting solutions that vary depending on your specific personal or business needs. In order to accommodate our customers we will place you on a hosting plan that is equal to or better than your current plan.


Q - Do I need to update my domain name servers (DNS)?

A - 
If your domain is registered with us we will automatically update the DNS for your domain(s). If your domain(s) is not registered with us you will need to update the DNS information for your domain after the migration is complete. We will notify you when the migration has been completed so that you can update your DNS. Here is the DNS information for CHI:

If you have any questions or concerns about DNS please contact our support team, they are happy to assist and answer any questions. If your domain is registered with another registrar please contact your domain registrar to update the DNS for your domain. 

Q - Has my account been migrated to CHI?

A - We will send a notification once migrations are complete. If you want to check whether or not your account has been migrated, go to and log in using your Client ID and password. If you are redirected to your new CHI control panel, then your account has been migrated. If you are not redirected to your new CHI control panel, then your account has not been migrated.

Q - Are there any additional perks or benefits of being a Midphase client?
